I received a Master of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago, where I focused on mental health. After 3000 hours of supervised practice in community mental health, I became licensed in the state of Illinois to practice therapy independently. I am currently licensed to practice independently in Wisconsin. I am a current member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science.

LCSW stands for Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Clinical social workers approach therapy from a specific point of view that values the whole experience of the person in their environment. Social workers look at the biological, mental, social, cultural, and spiritual aspects of a person and how they interact to make a unique self who interacts uniquely with the world. We are also guided by a code of ethics that affirms the dignity and worth of all people, especially those on the margins of society.
